HOW TO CHOOSE
Match the grade to the structure
Fe 550SD/550D for high-rise, columns and seismic zones; Fe 500D is enough for boundary walls, footings and single-storey houses.
Check ductility, not just strength
Higher elongation lets a structure absorb shock instead of cracking. Super-ductile (SD) bars are worth the small premium in Odisha's coastal belt.
Corrosion matters near the coast
Humid and saline air attacks rebar. A thermo-mechanically treated bar with a tough martensitic rim lasts far longer than re-rolled steel.
Insist on mill tags and test certificates
Every genuine bundle carries a mill tag with a batch number. We provide test certificates on request for all four brands.
Compare per kg, not per piece
